This time I laid out my goal. 15 Miles in one week. With 5 days to do it, the math was simple, I had to do 3 miles per day.  when I started to do the running, I was thinking “It would be more convenient if I could do it on a treadmill so I wouldn’t be subject to the heat/rain/ sunlight/ park being open/etc…” But those reasons weren’t going to stop me from running. Then, through a generous donation, I had a gym membership! The path is formed as you walk it, meaning that you have to start on your journey, and you will encounter the people that will continue to help you. I planned this week to be more realistic, I would run and walk until I finished the 3 miles, no matter how fast or slow.  I averaged 3.5mph on the walks, and 5.5-6.5 on the runs.  Over the 5 days my pace got better, I even completed a couple rounds that I ran .5 miles instead of .25. Video below is from the last day. I hope they don’t get concerned that I keep taking a video camera into the bathroom at the gym.
